Waste Management Services for Aarhus Municipality

This procurement opportunity involves the treatment of waste suitable for incineration, as part of the municipal collection scheme in Aarhus Municipality. The types of waste included are: • Municipal collected incinerable waste • Small combustible waste from municipal recycling stations in Aarhus. The total expected amount of incinerable waste is approximately 55,100 tons per year, of which 8,300 tons per year comes from recycling stations. The procurement is divided into 5 lots: Lot 1: Residual waste – Wheeled containers from single-family homes, apartment buildings, and municipal institutions, 11,500 tons Lot 2: Residual waste – Wheeled containers from single-family homes, apartment buildings, and municipal institutions, 11,500 tons Lot 3: Residual waste – Underground containers and cubes from apartment buildings and municipal institutions, 20,000 tons Lot 4: Residual waste – Large containers and sorting yards from apartment buildings and municipal institutions, as well as mobile suction, 3,800 tons Lot 5: Small combustible waste – Large containers at recycling stations, 8,300 tons. The services offered for each lot include: • Receiving the aforementioned types of waste. • Handling the aforementioned types of waste, including possible transport from the designated transfer station. • Incineration of the aforementioned types of waste. Bids can be submitted for one, several, or all offered lots, and the same bidder can be awarded one, several, or all lots if they offer the lowest evaluated technical price for each individual lot.
