Maintenance Agreement for BOSSINF System

The Social and Housing Agency has entered into a maintenance agreement with KMD for the BOSSINF systems. This agreement was established under Section 80, Subsection 3 of the Public Procurement Act. BOSSINF is a collection of administrative legacy IT systems that support municipal administration of cases related to the Act on Public Housing, the Act on Free Nursing Homes, and the Act on Urban Renewal and Development. BOSSINF was developed by KMD using KMD-developed modules, which have since been further developed, operated, and maintained by KMD. BOSSINF is closely connected to and dependent on several of KMD's internal support systems, such as KMD's Logon System RACF and the error logging system RSWatch. To perform the maintenance task, access to these internal support systems is required, which only KMD can obtain due to the protection of exclusive rights. There are no known alternatives to the support systems, and developing new alternative support systems is expected to cause technical issues and affect operations, as there is no knowledge of the underlying coding and interoperability.
