Backend Developer Services for Web Team

Zorginstituut Nederland is seeking two Backend Developers to strengthen its Web Team from March 31, 2025, to December 31, 2025, for 36 hours per week. This opportunity will be advertised twice under Function 1 and Function 2. As a Senior Developer at Zorginstituut Nederland, you will work in a Scrum team alongside Developers, UX Designers, Product Owners, and Testers to create solutions for users of our online web applications. Together, you will ensure that visitors experience a consistent and seamless customer experience, highlighting the value of what Zorginstituut offers online. Key qualifications include being a strong developer, a team player with excellent communication skills, and having a structured, creative approach to coding. You should be a critical, precise, and curious digital professional who is committed to continuous development. Your broad skill set will enable you to work effectively in a results-oriented and solution-focused manner, while also being able to function independently. You will devise ways to make solutions scalable and future-proof, enjoy tackling complex issues, and confidently advocate for code improvements. Your daily tasks will include: • Building and unit testing software • Analyzing complex development challenges and providing advice • Conducting peer reviews with fellow Developers and UX • Documenting software • Assisting with the transition to functional and technical management.
