DBS Checking Services for Imperial War Museums

Imperial War Museums (IWM) is seeking a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) screening solution provider for a three-year contract with an optional one-year extension. The successful provider will deliver a secure online platform enabling IWM to initiate, manage, and monitor DBS screening checks for candidates. Key requirements include: support for both basic and enhanced screening levels; candidate registration and identity verification; secure document upload functionality for identification documents; right to work checks through an approved third-party partner; international background checks for candidates with overseas experience; and share code verification for international passports outside the UK and Ireland. The solution must provide clear, accessible processes for candidates to submit required information and documentation, along with secure data hosting, retention, deletion management, and comprehensive reporting capabilities to IWM. Contract value assumes the optional one-year extension will be exercised.
