    Brief

This contract funds the implementation of a parent empowerment initiative aimed at supporting students in the new school and digital environment. The initiative focuses on providing tools, knowledge, and support mechanisms to parents for recognizing and intervening early in issues related to school disengagement, emotional difficulties, and online risks. Specifically, the program emphasizes the active participation of parents and guardians as key pillars of educational and psychosocial support for children. Parents will be empowered both consultatively and operationally to manage critical issues affecting students' daily school life, learning, and well-being. The program will focus on four thematic areas: 1. Addressing school bullying. 2. Counseling and informing parents on preventing addictions (alcohol, drugs, gambling) and harmful behaviors. 3. School disengagement and learning difficulties. 4. Risks of digital life. The program's approach is participatory and empowering, designed to adapt to parents' needs and enhance their daily engagement with their children's school and digital realities. It includes: - Development of the ConnectEdParents+ Digital Platform: This platform will serve as a reference point for all participants, providing access to educational and counseling materials, progress tracking, and interactive participation in thematic forums. - Asynchronous access to content: Provision of videos, guides, SCORM objects, with practical instructions for managing school and psychosocial issues, tailored for self-directed learning. - Thematic digital forums and parent communities: Interactive environments for sharing experiences, questions, and strategies for addressing common challenges, supervised by experts. - Local In-Person Actions for empowerment and information in targeted areas of the country, in collaboration with the contracting authority: • Group local actions with child psychologists, educators, and social scientists for in-depth analysis • Counseling and information days • Experiential group workshops • Thematic Interactive Participatory Seminars - Podcasts and informational webinars: Production of audio and audiovisual material with experts, based on the program's themes and tailored to parents' daily lives. - Guiding materials and guides: Printed and digital tools for implementing counseling interventions at home, in contact with the school, and enhancing children's emotional stability. - Formative evaluation of impact: At each stage of the program, changes in parents' attitudes, communication with the school community, and effects on children's behaviors will be evaluated.
