Feasibility Study and Investment Model Development

Enterprise Cheshire and Warrington (ECW) is seeking a consultant to develop a feasibility study focused on Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) within the Weaver-Gowy catchment area. This study aims to explore strategic interventions that enhance water availability and provide additional benefits such as carbon sequestration, improved water quality, and increased biodiversity. The consultant will engage with key stakeholders, including water abstractors, government bodies, NGOs, and local authorities, to gather insights that will inform the study and investment model recommendations. Additionally, the consultant will identify potential investors for the fund, including private capital sources and philanthropic donations. Bidders must demonstrate their technical expertise, quality assurance processes, and value for money in their proposals. The contract is expected to start on August 12, 2025, and the deadline for submissions is August 5, 2025. The total value of the contract is £40,000.
