Swing Bridge Maintenance Contract 2026-2030

North Yorkshire Council is seeking a maintenance contractor for multiple swing bridges located in Selby and Whitby. The successful contractor will be responsible for the Selby Town Swing Bridge, Cawood Swing Bridge, A63 Bypass Swing Bridge, and Whitby Swing Bridge. Services required include: scheduled preventive maintenance and servicing, 24-hour emergency response within 3 hours, completion of task orders as directed, technical advice and recommendations, and comprehensive reporting to ensure safe and continuous bridge operations. The contractor must supply all necessary parts, materials, and traffic management systems for all works. Remote support services are also required as needed. This is a 5-year contract running from 2026 to 2030.
