Conformity Assessment and Third Party Inspection Services for Nuclear Components

The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) is seeking a Conformity Assessment Body with UKAS accreditation to perform regulatory compliance assessments under the UK framework and issue UKCA marking certifications. The selected organisation must also hold equivalent EU accreditation (such as EU Notified Body status or accreditation from an EU-recognised national body) to conduct CE conformity assessments and ensure compliance with European regulations. Additionally, the service provider must be capable of delivering Third Party Inspection (TPI) services globally, including general inspections, technical evaluations, and witnessing of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), pressure equipment testing, and welding activities in accordance with applicable UK, European, and international regulations and standards. The organisation must have personnel capable of mobilising across the United Kingdom, Europe, North America, Central and South America, Australia, Asia, and Africa.
