UK Centres of Excellence for Regulatory Science and Innovation

The Medical Research Council (MRC), Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), and Office for Life Sciences are jointly funding the establishment of four Centres of Excellence for Regulatory Science and Innovation (CERSIs) across the UK. Each centre will focus on one of four strategic regulatory science themes and conduct sustained research programmes to address key regulatory priorities. The funding supports initial three-year grants with potential extension to five years, enabling organisations to build world-leading research capabilities in areas critical to medicines regulation, public health, and life sciences innovation.
