Zero Emission Vehicle Manufacturing Scale-Up Fund

The DRIVE35 Scale Up Fund provides grants to UK registered organisations to expand manufacturing capacity for zero emission vehicle technologies. This £150 million fund supports the development and scaling of production facilities for electric and hydrogen vehicles and related components. Eligible organisations can request grants between £2.5 million and £20 million, with total project costs of at least £5 million. Projects must be completed between March 2027 and March 2030. This funding is designed to help UK manufacturers increase production capability, create jobs, and strengthen the domestic zero emission vehicle supply chain to meet growing demand and support the UK's transition to net zero transport.
