Medical Research Council Proof of Concept: Stage Two Funding

This is an invitation-only, stage two funding opportunity from the Medical Research Council (MRC) for organizations that have successfully completed stage one applications. The funding supports the development and testing of novel therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics, and other healthcare interventions at any stage of the developmental pathway. This includes prototype development, pre-clinical refinement, and early-phase clinical studies up to phase 2a. Eligible applicants should have demonstrated promising preliminary results in stage one and be ready to advance their innovation toward clinical validation.
