MRC Proof of Concept: Stage Two Funding

This funding program supports the development and testing of innovative therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics, and other healthcare interventions. It covers the entire developmental pathway from prototype development through pre-clinical refinement to early-phase clinical studies (phase 2a). This is a second-stage funding opportunity available only to applicants who have successfully completed the stage one application and received an invitation to progress. Eligible organizations should be prepared to demonstrate progress from their initial proof of concept work and have clear plans for moving their intervention toward clinical validation.
