Design and Deliver National Knowledge Exchange Metrics for UK Universities

Research England is seeking a leading expert unit or consortium to serve as national knowledge exchange (KE) metrics advisors over a five-year period. The successful provider will design and deliver next-generation KE data, metrics, and analytical tools—including AI-based approaches—to measure and track university knowledge exchange and commercialisation activities across the UK. Key responsibilities include: creating novel datasets that capture KE outcomes; developing standardised metrics and measurement frameworks; building analytical tools to generate actionable insights; and supporting policy development and evidence-based practice across universities. This is an opportunity for experienced research or metrics organisations to drive innovation in how universities measure and report their knowledge exchange impact.
