UK-Brazil Collaborative Social Science Research Funding

This is a collaborative research funding opportunity for UK-based researchers partnering with colleagues in São Paulo, Brazil. The program supports social science research projects with budgets up to £1 million, with the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) providing 80% of funding and the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) providing matched support. This is the second round of this initiative, designed to strengthen research partnerships between the UK and Brazil. Eligible researchers should have institutional affiliations in the UK and work with established research partners in São Paulo. Projects should address social science research questions of mutual interest to both countries.
