What Works Centre for Climate Resilience in the UK

UKRI and Defra are inviting applications to establish and lead an independent What Works Centre focused on climate resilience in the UK. The centre will generate, synthesise, and mobilise evidence to inform climate adaptation strategies and build resilience to climate change impacts. The centre will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple policy areas to support more effective and scaled adaptation interventions in three key topic areas: healthy natural environment and food systems, thriving places, and services and infrastructure. This is an opportunity to lead a major national research initiative with maximum funding of £21.1 million to strengthen the UK's climate adaptation efforts.
