    Brief

The Medical Research Council (MRC) is conducting a strategic prioritisation exercise to gather comprehensive information about biomedical longitudinal population studies (LPS) operating in the UK or previously supported by MRC. This initiative will inform MRC's planning for future investments in LPS infrastructure across a ten-year period (2029-2039). Researchers and study leaders are invited to submit information about their longitudinal studies to help shape MRC's future support mechanisms and funding strategies. Note: Submissions will not directly result in immediate funding but will play a crucial role in designing tailored support mechanisms and infrastructure investment decisions for UK-based biomedical longitudinal population studies.
