Literacy and Numeracy Specialist for HMP Holme House

This is a call-off contract under the Prison Education Dynamic Purchasing System to provide literacy and numeracy education services at HMP Holme House. The successful supplier will work to increase prisoner engagement and confidence in reading and numeracy skills. Key responsibilities include: promoting reading among non-readers and those with low-level reading abilities; improving overall literacy abilities and fostering independence; raising the profile of numeracy within the prison; and encouraging prisoners to develop and improve their numeracy skills. The role focuses on supporting vulnerable learners, building confidence, and improving educational outcomes for the prison population.
