Enabling Groundworks for Shotley Bridge Hospital Development

County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is commissioning enabling groundworks at the new Shotley Bridge Hospital site. These essential preparatory works include site preparation and infrastructure development required to support the subsequent main construction phase of the hospital build. The contract will be awarded to the Land Owner for provision of these enabling works, which are critical to meeting the project timeline and readiness for construction commencement. This procurement is part of the national New Hospitals Programme and is undertaken under Exemption Schedule 2 Part 8(1) of the Procurement Act 2023.
