    Brief

Derbyshire Constabulary is seeking to procure an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) service to support its employees experiencing domestic abuse. The service will operate within the Professional Standards Department and provide confidential, practical advice on domestic abuse, safety planning, housing, legal options, and financial support. The IDVA will assess referrals for Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) attendance and liaise with line managers and HR to develop tailored support plans for affected employees. Expected demand is 10-20 referrals annually. This preliminary market engagement is being conducted to inform a business case. Once approved, a compliant procurement process will follow. Potential suppliers should have expertise in domestic violence support, employee assistance, and multi-agency coordination.
