Local Authority Textile Waste Processing Contract Retender

The Devon Authorities Strategic Waste Committee (DASWC) is seeking a contractor to process Local Authority Collected Waste (LACW) textiles on behalf of Devon's District Councils and Torbay Council. This contract covers the collection, sorting, processing, and commercialization of textile waste from nine local authorities across Devon and Torbay. The successful contractor will manage textile waste streams to maximize material recovery and generate revenue for DASWC member councils through the sale of processed materials. This is an established contract with a proven income-generating track record. Interested suppliers should have experience in textile waste processing, material recovery, quality standards compliance, and ability to serve multiple local authority partners. The contract is being retendered following expiration of the current agreement.
