Houghton Depot Development Project

This is a capital infrastructure project for a new fleet maintenance and storage facility. The development will include office space, staff welfare facilities, and workshop areas for fleet maintenance. Key infrastructure components comprise vehicle garages for the fleet, a dedicated gritter vehicle shed, and a large-capacity salt storage barn (8,000 tonnes). The site will feature external hardstanding areas for vehicle parking and storage, including dedicated staff parking for 50 vehicles. Additional facilities include a truck wash bay, refuelling station, electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, and containerised storage units. This is an opportunity for suppliers to provide construction services, materials, equipment, or professional services (such as design, engineering, or project management) for this substantial depot facility.
