Brief

Monaghan County Council is seeking a Private Security Authority (PSA) licensed security company to supply and install a comprehensive IP CCTV surveillance system in Carrickmacross Town Centre, County Monaghan. The project includes 18 cameras of various types (Multi-Sensor, Bullet, and Dome) positioned across 15 locations throughout the town centre. The system will operate on a wireless transmission network connecting all cameras (except one hard-wired camera) to a central CCTV server located at the Market House. Cameras will be mounted on new dedicated poles, existing public lighting infrastructure, and building facades. The contractor will be responsible for supplying and installing all interface boxes, Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches, data cabling (Cat5 or Cat6), and terminating all cabling connections. Civil works, electrical infrastructure, and camera pole installation are being managed separately; however, coordination with these contractors is essential during installation. Cat5 or Cat6 cabling will be pre-installed at all camera locations. Monaghan County Council retains the right to implement the system across all or a subset of the identified CCTV locations.
