    Brief

This is a comprehensive retrofit project for two university buildings: the Law Building and the Tower (Psychology) Building. The contractor will be responsible for executing all renovation works across both sites. Law Building scope includes: asbestos removal; replacement of flat roof systems on the main building section and 1990s extension (with removal and reinstallation of rooftop PV cells and MEP systems); complete window and curtain wall replacement with new double-glazed units (except ground floor 1990s extension); and installation of new window blinds and fixtures. Tower Building scope includes: asbestos removal; replacement of flat roof systems on the two lower-level extensions only (MEP systems to be removed and reinstalled); complete window and curtain wall replacement with new double-glazed units (except 2008 extension windows which will be retained); installation of new window blinds and fixtures; and development and implementation of phasing, sequencing, and building user decanting plans to minimize disruption. The successful contractor must coordinate complex renovation activities across multiple building sections, manage hazardous material removal, coordinate building occupant relocations, and ensure all work complies with current building standards and specifications.
