    Brief

This tender seeks a service provider to establish a coordinated and sustainable food support network across multiple social supermarket locations. The successful contractor will deliver two complementary workstreams: (1) Development of a sustainable food supply network to support participating social supermarkets, and (2) Delivery of a community growing and food skills programme across five locations. The project addresses food poverty and food insecurity while empowering participants to develop a positive, sustainable relationship with food. Delivery will include practical activities such as health and nutrition education, budget-friendly cooking classes, community growing initiatives, and shared meals. Participants will gain confidence, skills, and knowledge to purchase, grow, and prepare nutritious food that meets their needs, while reducing barriers related to cost, choice, and access. This initiative is funded under the PEACEPLUS Programme, Theme 1: Building Peaceful and Thriving Communities.
