    Brief

St. Canice's Girls' National School, located in Finglas, Dublin 11, is seeking a consultant to manage emergency electrical works across its campus. The school comprises two buildings: a main two-storey structure (1,989m²) with a General Purpose Hall and a smaller detached building (352m²). The emergency works will address the complete electrical infrastructure of both buildings, including incoming electrical supply, main and sub-distribution equipment, sub-main and final-circuit wiring, small-power installation, earthing and bonding systems, general and emergency lighting, and fire detection and alarm systems. The existing electrical installations are legacy systems that have been modified and extended incrementally over several decades, requiring comprehensive assessment and modernization. The consultant will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, and delivery of these critical life safety upgrades to ensure compliance with current electrical safety standards and building regulations.
