LED Festive Lighting Supply and Installation Service for Lindfield High Street

Lindfield Parish Council is seeking a contractor to supply, install, maintain, and remove LED spark lights for its annual festive lighting display on Lindfield High Street. The contract runs for three years (2025-2027) covering festive periods each year. The current requirement includes spark lights wrapped around 35 trees powered from six residential/business addresses. The contractor must: store and supply all lighting equipment; install lights by at least 7 days before 1 December; remove and dismantle by 27 January each year; test all lights during downtime and complete repairs (such as bulb replacement and connection fixes) before installation; provide a 24/7 emergency maintenance call-out service with target resolution within 48 hours; hold current HERS (Highway Electrical Registration Scheme) accreditation or arrange partnership with an accredited provider; conduct annual risk assessments; comply with Health and Safety regulations and West Sussex County Council specifications for public highway work; and maintain public liability insurance of £10 million. Installation and removal dates require mutual agreement in advance. The Council welcomes proposals for additional festive illuminations with costs negotiated separately.
