Southeast Regional Traffic Model Update to 2025 Baseline

This project involves updating the Southeast Regional Traffic Model (SERTM2) to a 2025 baseline year and developing new forecasts that reflect post-COVID travel patterns. The refreshed models will provide improved evidence for existing and emerging transportation planning decisions. The consultant will develop the models according to TAG guidance, calibrate and validate them to match or exceed second-generation model performance, co-lead the Matrix Technical Consistency Group, coordinate with other technical groups on network and forecasting updates, and deliver comprehensive handover packages. Key deliverables include a Transport Data Package report documenting data sources and robustness, a Model Development Report detailing build methods and matrix processes, a Forecasting Report explaining forecast methodology, End-user Handover Packages with analysis files for identified use cases, and a National Highways Handover Package with development files.
