Multi-disciplinary Design Team Services for Office Refurbishment – Architect-Led Consultancy

The Higher Education Authority (HEA) seeks an experienced Architect-Led Multi-Disciplinary Design Team to deliver professional consultancy services for a comprehensive office refurbishment project at their Dublin headquarters (3 Shelbourne Buildings, Ballsbridge). The scope encompasses approximately 16,000 sq. ft. across ground and first floors and requires expertise in architectural design, mechanical and electrical (ME) building services, quantity surveying, project delivery and sustainability planning (PDSP), and acoustic engineering. The refurbishment will modernize office spaces to current standards while matching the quality finish of recently completed work, incorporating a mix of open-plan and cellular offices, meeting rooms, collaboration areas, and support facilities. The ground floor will feature reception, arrival area, boardroom, and client-facing spaces, while the first floor will provide internal meeting rooms, staff workspaces, and ancillary facilities. Qualified design teams should demonstrate experience in large-scale commercial office fit-outs, knowledge of Irish building standards and regulations, and ability to deliver integrated multi-disciplinary services.
