Partners are currently deploying AI independently through trial projects and unmanaged free tools, creating duplication, inconsistent progress, and governance risks. This investment establishes a shared AI Management Hub—a secure, centralized platform that enables safe AI integration across all partner systems, data, and workflows. The solution provides unified governance, improves service reliability, and delivers better value for money through coordinated deployment. Year one deliverables include: a secure AI Management Hub integrated with existing systems and data; core AI tools for staff; a controlled alternative to unmanaged free AI tools; and initial Digital Front Door capability enabling AI-assisted handling of citizen inquiries. The platform supports both operational efficiency and citizen-facing service improvements.
