Point of Sale Materials Production and Distribution Contract

Ordnance Survey (OS), Great Britain's National Mapping Service, is seeking a contract partner to manage end-to-end point of sale (POS) materials for its retail and wholesale operations. The successful contractor will handle production, storage, inventory management, and distribution of POS fixtures across Great Britain for OS's paper maps, guidebooks, and leisure products. The contract encompasses two main service areas: Business as Usual (BAU): Ongoing POS production, storage, inventory management, and distribution of existing materials (£40k per year). New Series Launch and Rebrand: Support for launching two new compact, water-resistant paper map series in February 2027 and implementing updated brand language across all POS solutions (one-off budget of £400k for 2026/27). The initial contract term is three years, with an optional two-year extension (3+2 structure). This is a strategic opportunity to partner with a leading national mapping service during a significant product and branding evolution. Successful delivery requires close collaboration, clear communication, and flexibility to adapt to changing retail requirements. The contractor must ensure consistent application of brand standards while maintaining strong product visibility and engaging retail experiences across OS's estate.
