    Brief

Cork County Council is seeking a qualified multidisciplinary consultant team to develop a comprehensive Large Scale Development Plan (LSDP) for Camden Fort Meagher in Crosshaven, County Cork. This project is part of the Camden Fort Meagher Regeneration Programme and funded through the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund (RRDF) Category 2 Programme. The LSDP will establish a long-term strategic vision and actionable roadmap for conserving, enhancing, and sustainably regenerating the fort as a nationally important heritage, tourism, cultural, and educational destination. The plan will guide future conservation efforts, visitor development, management strategies, and investment decisions. The consultant team will work concurrently with a separate project team preparing a prioritisation and delivery strategy for future funding applications. Key deliverables include an evidence-based strategic framework and a publication-quality development plan. Consultants must actively coordinate with Cork County Council to ensure alignment between both concurrent commissions and support the council's broader regeneration objectives.
