    Brief

This research opportunity seeks to develop and maintain up-to-date, evidence-based economic values used in UK Government policy decisions. Specifically, the work will provide robust values for Value of a Life Year (VOLY), Willingness to Pay per Quality Adjusted Life Year (WTP-QALY), and Value of a Prevention of Fatality (VPF). These values are critical tools used across UK Government Departments and Agencies to conduct economic appraisals and cost-benefit analyses for policy interventions. The successful supplier will ensure these values remain scientifically sound, defensible under external scrutiny, and provide a reliable foundation for government decision-making on issues affecting public health, safety, and welfare. This is Lot 2 of the overall research programme, focusing on the maintenance and practical application of the established values.
