Powys Council is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for domiciliary care services across the Powys region. The DPS will operate for an initial 10-year period with an option for a 5-year extension, subject to bi-annual reviews. The system remains open for new providers to apply. All providers must be registered with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) to deliver domiciliary support services. The DPS is organized into three lots covering North and South Powys: Lot 1 covers urban areas with domiciliary care services including dementia support; Lot 2 covers rural areas with domiciliary care services including dementia support; and Lot 3 covers remote rural areas with domiciliary care services including dementia support. This award notice applies to contracts awarded under the DPS from July 2026 onwards. Interested providers should complete the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire to join the system.
