    Brief

Norfolk County Council is procuring an Occupational Therapy, Inclusion and Participation Service to deliver specialized support for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across mainstream settings. This service forms part of the 'Experts at Hand' program, a multi-disciplinary model that embeds occupational therapists and other specialist experts directly within early years, primary, secondary, and post-16 settings. The service will identify emerging and identified SEND needs earlier, build staff capability and confidence, and provide evidence-based interventions tailored to individual children within their everyday learning environments. The occupational therapy team will conduct observations, assessments, and recommend targeted support strategies to help more children and young people thrive in mainstream settings. Contract period: 4 January 2027 to 31 March 2029. Estimated contract value: £3,383,930 (excluding VAT).
