Catering Equipment Supply and Maintenance Services for New Cancer Centre

Velindre University NHS Trust is seeking qualified suppliers for catering equipment and maintenance services to support the new Velindre Cancer Centre, opening in 2027. This procurement is divided into two separate lots: Lot 1 – Catering Equipment Supply and Installation: Supply, deliver, install, commission and test commercial catering equipment for production kitchens, satellite kitchens, staff facilities and public areas. Responsibilities include coordination with the construction team, phased delivery, provision of documentation and manuals, user training, and warranty support. All equipment must meet UK legislation and NHS healthcare standards. Lot 2 – Catering Equipment Maintenance and Servicing: Provide comprehensive planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair services following the centre's commissioning. Services include scheduled servicing per manufacturer recommendations, 24/7/365 emergency response, replacement parts, asset management, lifecycle reporting, annual inspections and quarterly meetings. Suppliers must maintain equipment in safe, compliant and operational condition throughout the contract. Suppliers may bid for one or both lots. Contracts will be awarded separately. The procurement follows the Procurement Act 2023 Open Procedure and will be evaluated on quality, price and social value.
