Family Domestic Abuse Support Advisor Service Contract

Cornwall Council is seeking a service provider to deliver the Family Domestic Abuse Support Advisor (FDASA) Service, with contract commencement expected January 2027. This service delivers specialist domestic abuse support through a small team of qualified workers embedded within Family Help teams. The FDASA Service is designed to provide short-term, focused interventions for families where domestic abuse is a primary concern. Key service objectives include: increasing family safety, enhancing risk awareness and understanding, facilitating access to specialist domestic abuse services, and coordinating support in partnership with Children's Social Care without duplicating statutory functions. The service structure includes frontline support advisors and a supervisor/team lead position to ensure service consistency, quality assurance, and effective team coordination. Potential suppliers should have expertise in domestic abuse support, family-centered interventions, and experience working collaboratively within multi-agency contexts.
