Framework Agreement for Event Services, Equipment and Stewarding

South Tyneside Council is establishing a framework agreement for the supply of event services including equipment hire and event stewarding. Up to 3 suppliers will be selected and ranked on each lot based on bid quality and scoring. Work will be allocated through two mechanisms: (1) Direct Award - for services identical or very similar to those priced during framework setup, awarded to the highest-ranked supplier, with fallback to 2nd and 3rd ranked suppliers if needed; (2) Further Competition - for services of a different nature to those originally priced, awarded based on lowest price. All work will be drawn down via purchase order. This framework offers suppliers the opportunity to provide event management services to a local authority on an ongoing basis.
