    Brief

The Education Authority is conducting a market engagement exercise to identify qualified learning providers to deliver NSETS/JNC-endorsed professional formation programmes in youth work. The opportunity involves providing three levels of study: an undergraduate programme for 20-30 students over 4 years, a postgraduate programme for approximately 15 students, and a master's programme for 5-10 students. All programmes must meet JNC qualification standards for professional youth work careers in Northern Ireland. Providers must demonstrate capacity to deliver cohort-based, part-time education with flexible block teaching periods, conduct a minimum of 50% of instruction at Education Authority premises, offer optional residential teaching, include Northern Ireland-specific content, and align with designated entry requirements. The contract may be extended to support additional cohorts through programme completion, with specific course content, student placements, and financial terms to be agreed before each programme commences.
