Train-the-Trainer Programme for Angel Syndicate Leaders

The British Business Bank is seeking a training provider to design and deliver a Train-the-Trainer education programme for angel syndicate leads across the United Kingdom. This four-year contract supports the Diverse Angel Syndicates (DAS) Programme, which aims to increase diversity in angel investing by supporting 10-15 syndicates across the UK. The successful provider will create a modular training curriculum that equips syndicate leaders to deliver consistent, high-quality training to their own members, with a focus on angel activation and portfolio understanding for new and novice investors. The work is front-loaded with intensive programme design, content development, and initial delivery in early years, transitioning to lighter-touch support including material updates and periodic quality assurance in later years. The training must establish minimum standards across all supported syndicates, be tailorable to individual membership bases, and clarify its purpose to avoid duplication with other syndicate development initiatives. This is a non-financial support component of a broader package that also includes funding and peer learning opportunities.
