Highway Infrastructure and Bus Stop Maintenance Services

TfWM is seeking a single service provider to deliver comprehensive highway infrastructure maintenance across its asset portfolio, including bus shelters, information totems, cycle and mobility hubs, and park and ride sites. The contract encompasses both reactive maintenance (primarily vandalism repairs such as glazing, framework, and component damage) and planned preventative maintenance. The service provider must maintain and update bus flags during network stability periods and provide secure storage for spare parts and out-of-use assets throughout the contract term. The successful supplier will deploy dedicated operatives and vehicles equipped with a smart mobile communication system compatible with TfWM's asset management IT infrastructure to enable electronic reporting of inspections, faults, and work completion. Additional responsibilities include removing and reinstalling bus shelters, poles, and information points at existing or new sites, and collaborating closely with TfWM and its partner suppliers. As a single point of contact, the service provider must demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability by incorporating green technologies, optimizing service visits, recycling waste materials, using low-emission vehicles, working with reusable components, and sourcing ethically produced materials.
