Local Gambling Harms Assessment and Strategy Development

Sandwell Council is seeking a qualified organisation to conduct a comprehensive assessment of gambling harms in the local area and develop an evidence-based Gambling Harms Strategy. The successful supplier will evaluate gambling behaviours and related harms across all age groups and communities, including online and in-person gambling. Key deliverables include: a population-level needs assessment; analysis of impact on families and carers; qualitative research findings; mapping of current services and gaps; identification of priority populations and health inequalities; exploration of ethnicity, racism and structural inequalities affecting gambling harms; and a prioritised delivery plan with actionable recommendations aligned to national guidance and local system priorities.
