External Conservation Repairs to Oliver Cromwell's House

The City of Ely Council is seeking qualified contractors to carry out conservation repairs to the North and East facing external facades of Oliver Cromwell's House, a historic property. The scope of work includes: localised structural timber repairs, leadwork renewal, rainwater goods maintenance, and selective lime render reinstatement. All repairs must be undertaken using traditional materials and methods on a like-for-like basis to preserve the building's historic and architectural character while ensuring weather tightness and continued functionality. Contractors should have experience in historic building conservation and traditional craftsmanship. Works will be carried out in compliance with conservation standards to maintain the property's significant heritage value.
