Modern Fire Control and Command System for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) is seeking a modern, cloud-based Fire Control and Command and Control solution to replace its aging on-premise system. The service operates 31 stations (23 retained-crewed) and manages emergency call handling, resource mobilisation, and incident support for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Key requirements include improved operational resilience with off-site capability, enhanced call handling and mobilisation performance, better usability for operators and supervisors, advanced reporting and management information, stronger cyber security, improved interoperability with partner organisations and emergency services, and seamless integration with existing systems including mobile data terminals and national incident recording systems. The solution must support incident management modules such as building evacuation, fire survival guidance, and marauding terror attack procedures. CFRS expects a cloud-hosted approach that reduces dependency on local infrastructure, enables remote maintenance, maintains mission-critical resilience, and provides minimal downtime during maintenance.
