Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) is establishing a Multi-Party Framework Agreement to identify and shortlist qualified electrical contractors for Low Voltage (LV) electrical renewal and upgrade works on the Luas Light Rail System. This Invitation to Prequalify (IMPQQ) competition seeks contractors with proven expertise in designing, installing, testing, commissioning, and ensuring compliance of LV electrical systems for light rail or heavy rail infrastructure. Selected contractors will be invited to submit tenders for call-off contracts on a project-by-project basis. Key requirements include: (1) demonstrated experience delivering complex electrical works in live, operational rail environments; (2) proven competency in safety-critical electrical systems design and installation; (3) ability to work safely and maintain full regulatory compliance in active railway settings; (4) capacity to provide or procure qualified Project Supervisors for Design (PSDP) and Construction (PSCS) phases under Irish health and safety legislation; and (5) compliance with TII's subcontracting policy. Interested applicants must submit an Expression of Interest via the provided Information Memorandum and Prequalification Questionnaire (IMPQQ). TII reserves the right to verify all declarations and will shortlist a sufficient number of qualified applicants to proceed to tender stage.
