    Brief

This tender invites applications from service providers to establish a coordinated and sustainable social supermarket network across multiple locations in Ireland, funded by PEACEPLUS. The successful contractor will deliver two integrated workstreams: (1) Development of a reliable food supply network serving participating social supermarkets, and (2) Delivery of community growing and food skills programmes at five locations. The project addresses food poverty and food insecurity by providing participants with practical training in nutrition, budget-friendly cooking, community gardening, and shared meals. Participants will gain knowledge, skills, and confidence to purchase, grow, and prepare affordable food while building a more positive relationship with food. This opportunity is suitable for organizations with experience in community development, food security, social enterprise management, or related fields. The project aligns with Theme 1: Building Peaceful and Thriving Communities under the PEACEPLUS programme.
