Bikeability Cycle Training Service Provider

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead (RBWM) is seeking qualified providers to deliver Bikeability cycle training to children and young people across the Borough. This service supports road safety, active travel and sustainable transport objectives through high-quality, nationally-accredited cycle training delivered primarily in schools during term time. Key Requirements: - Deliver Bikeability Level 1, Level 2, combined Level 1/2, Level 3, Learn to Ride and SEND/Inclusion training in compliance with Bikeability Trust, Active Travel England and Department for Transport standards - Maintain registration as an approved Bikeability Training Provider with appropriately qualified and registered instructors - Manage school engagement and course bookings through an accessible system - Implement comprehensive safeguarding, health and safety, data protection and quality assurance measures including enhanced DBS checks - Provide an inclusive service for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) - Supply training equipment including bikes, helmets and high-visibility garments - Monitor performance, manage incidents and complaints, and collaborate with RBWM for continuous improvement Funding is subject to annual Department for Transport allocations via the Bikeability Trust, with demand levels and funding varying during the contract period.
