Idris Davies High School - Boiler and Controls Replacement Project

Tender invitation for the replacement of boilers, pumps, and heating controls at Idris Davies School in Rhymney. This engineering main contract includes: removal and disposal of existing boilers and redundant plant equipment from the comprehensive school building; re-engineering of existing controls and control valves in the Primary School building; draining of all necessary areas and systems; installation of new boilers, pumps, controls, and control equipment; and full system recommissioning including draining, filling, venting, and testing of the entire school heating system. Work must be completed during the summer school vacation with the school fully operational and safe for pupils to return by 31 August 2026. Contractors must provide adequate labour, plant, and equipment to meet this deadline.
