Building Maintenance and Repairs Services Contract Opportunity

Three local councils in the East Midlands—Boston Borough Council, East Lindsey District Council, and South Holland District Council—are seeking suppliers for a comprehensive building maintenance and repairs contract covering their corporate properties. This Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise invites suppliers to share their capabilities and ideas before formal procurement begins. The contract scope includes responsive repairs and emergency call-out services, mechanical and electrical works, roofing and drainage repairs, planned maintenance, minor works, building improvements, capital projects, and specialist services. The councils are interested in understanding supplier capacity, innovative service delivery approaches, flexible pricing models, and contract structures that offer value for money. This PME process is open to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as larger regional and national providers, and will inform a new procurement strategy under the Procurement Act 2023. Suppliers interested in participating should demonstrate their experience with multi-site corporate estate management and readiness to deliver a diverse range of building services.
