Sale of Redundant DVSA Workshop Equipment

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has appointed a single supplier to collect and sell redundant testing equipment from its Goods Vehicle Testing Stations (GVTS) across Great Britain. As DVSA transitions from its traditional GVTS estate to Vehicle Examination Facilities (VEFs) located at private premises, significant quantities of professionally decommissioned testing equipment will become available for disposal. All equipment has been properly decommissioned to ensure it can be professionally reused once purchased. This opportunity involves the collection and resale of equipment previously installed at DVSA GVTS and Enforcement sites throughout England, Scotland, and Wales. The initiative supports DVSA's objective to bring Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) testing closer to vehicle operators and maintainers while reducing its physical estate footprint.
