    Brief

St. Vincent's University Hospital (SVUH) in Ireland is seeking a turnkey delivery contract for a replacement MRI suite, including the MRI system and enabling works. The hospital requires a self-contained ultra-low helium 1.5T MRI system that operates without a quench pipe, minimizes operational downtime, reduces power consumption, and supports sustainability objectives. The MRI suite is small and non-rectangular with limited structural modification capacity. SVUH delivers advanced multi-specialty MRI services for complex, critically ill, and bariatric patients and requires a dockable trolley system to safely accommodate ICU teams, anesthetic equipment, and MR-conditional support systems within the unique physical constraints of the suite. Based on clinical, technical, and safety requirements, SVUH has determined that Siemens Healthcare Medical Solutions Limited is the only qualified supplier in the European market capable of meeting these specifications. The contract is proposed for a maximum of ten (10) years with an estimated value of EUR 2,000,000 (excluding VAT). A Voluntary Ex-Ante Publication (VEAT) Notice will be published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) under Article 32.2.b.ii (absence of competition for technical reasons). The contract will not be executed for a minimum of fourteen (14) days following publication of the VEAT Notice.
