Annual UK Non-Nuclear Radioactive Discharge Reporting Service

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero is seeking a qualified supplier to collect, analyse, verify, and submit annual data on UK non-nuclear radioactive discharges to OSPAR (the Oslo and Paris Convention). This is a three-year contract worth approximately £25,500. The successful supplier will manage data collection from relevant organisations, perform quality assurance checks, validate datasets against regulatory standards, and prepare formal reports that meet OSPAR requirements. This work is essential for fulfilling the UK's international environmental obligations and monitoring compliance with the OSPAR Radioactive Substances Strategy and the North-East Atlantic Environment Strategy 2030. The supplier must have expertise in radioactive discharge data management, understanding of OSPAR reporting standards, and the ability to produce high-quality, auditable datasets and reporting templates on schedule.
